JPJ Login to the Portal: To access the services, you must first log in by providing the necessary credentials at public.jpj.gov.my. This gives you access to all the services according to your user profile.
mySIKAP: This is an online platform provided by JPJ Online where users can make online transactions related to driving licenses, motor vehicle licenses, summons, and other JPJ products. You need to register mySIKAP first.
JPJ Branches: You can locate JPJ branches nationwide and check their operating hours and services.
JPJeBid: This online vehicle number bidding system allows you to place bids for your preferred vehicle number. The highest bidder gets the number. Register JPJeBid first and you can buy car plate numbers easily in Malaysia.
JPJeQ: An online queuing system where you can book your queue number for any JPJ counter services. This reduces waiting time at JPJ offices.
Apply for License: JPJ offers services for applying for new driving licenses, both local and international. Applicants must pass computer and practical driving tests for a local license. They must also meet the required age and health conditions. Applicants must possess a valid local driving license for the international one. The international license allows Malaysians to drive in foreign countries, recognising the international driving permit. Both applications can be made at any JPJ branch nationwide.
Renew License: You can renew your driving license through this portal. It’s a simple, hassle-free process that saves you a trip to the JPJ office.
Renew Road Tax: You can renew roadtax at JPJ or you can also renew roadtax at Pejabat Pos. The easiest is to renew your vehicle’s road tax online. You also can check your road tax status.
Bayar Saman: If you have any outstanding traffic summons, you can check and bayar saman JPJ as soon as possible. You can also pay JPJ saman online.
Change Ownership: You can apply for a change of vehicle ownership online. This includes transferring ownership to a new owner or changing the name if you’ve recently been married or divorced.
Blacklist: You can check if your name is on the blacklist for any traffic offences. If you’re on the list, you won’t be able to renew your driving license or road tax.
VEP JPJ: The Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) JPJ is a mandatory requirement issued by the JPJ for foreign vehicles entering and operating within Malaysia.
